I grew up in a small town in India, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, surrounded by majestic mountains and the pristine beauty of nature. Those early years immersed me in the tranquil, awe-inspiring landscapes that shaped my heart and mind, nurturing a deep love and respect for the environment. Living close to nature instilled in me values of harmony, preservation, and gratitude for our planet's gifts.
As an immigrant woman of color in a new country, I carry these childhood memories and lessons with me every day.
